Today I am adding one healthier Breakfast recipe in my Breakfast recipes section. Cucumber seeds salad is very delicious as well nutritious too. The combination of juicy cucumber with crunchy seeds is very enjoyable. It is very easy to prepare recipe, it hardly takes 10 minutes to prepare.


In this salad I added different varieties of seeds like pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds to it; if you don’t have you can add sesame seeds only. Dietitian in Mumbai tells us seeds are rich source of proteins, calories, monounsaturated fats, fiber, fat soluble vitamins and minerals. Cucumber seeds salad is very low in calories; in single serving you will get 104kcal. You can add it in your GM Diet plan also; it helps a lot for those who are looking how to lose weight naturally.

Coriander leaves-1 tsp (3gm)

Pumpkin seeds-1 tsp (3 gm)

Sunflower seeds- 1 tsp (3 gm)

Melon seeds-1 tsp (3 gm)

Sesame seeds (Gingelly seeds)-1 tsp (3 gm)

Salt- as per taste


  • Wash and peel cucumber. Cut into small slices.
  • In a pan add 1 tsp pumpkin seeds, 1 tsp sunflower seeds, 1 tsp melon seeds and 1 tsp sesame seeds. Roast it for 5 minutes in medium flame.


  • In a bowl add chopped cucumber slices, roasted seeds, chopped coriander leaves and salt. Mix it well.


  • Serve it.
